Monday 2/23 - 45 minute Revolve spin class.
Tuesday 2/24 - 45 minute SoulCycle class.
Wednesday 2/25 - off
Thursday 2/26 - off
Friday 2/27 - 1 hour session at Crunch gym. I did 10 minutes on the StairMaster, 30 minutes Arc machine, and 20 minutes strength training. ClassPass just started offering gym time at certain gyms, which I think is a great addition. As much as I’ve grown to love classes, sometimes it’s nice to do my own thing. And this workout was just that! I’ll definitely be doing more of these in the future.
Saturday 2/28 - 45 minute SoulCycle class.
Sunday 3/1 - off

Are you more of a class person or “DIY” when it comes to working out?

I have always been the type of person to work out on my own in order to save money, but I recently bought a Groupon deal for ilovekickboxing.com, and since the first class I’ve been hooked so I bought a membership! It is such a great workout and I can’t believe the fun I’ve been missing this whole time working out alone; classes are the best!
that’s what happened to me! now it’s hard to go back to working alone haha
I’m definitely more of a DIY workout kind of girl. I prefer to watch videos or do my own exercises at home on my own time or go out for a run. I just don’t have the time for a class but I’m jealous of how many you take! I bet they’re fun.

I’m definitely more of a class person but because of my unpredictable work schedule, I end up working out when I can at my buildings gym (which is less than ideal!) I am traveling to NYC this weekend and am dying to take a Soul Cycle class. Do a lot of men take the classes? Can I rent spin shoes or wear running shoes? Should I be as intimidated to walk in there as I feel right now?! So many questions. I hope you can answer!
You definitely should! There are men that take it, but I’d say mostly women. You rent shoes there
Your first class is only $20 if you call the studio! Honestly it can be a little intimidating at first BUT everyone is really nice and helpful - they’ll tell you exactly how to set up/what to expect. And if you sit toward the back it’s less pressure
I just became a ClassPass girl and I love it! It has introduced me to so many fitness classes that I never thought I would have liked!
woooo, it’s the best!
i’m def a solo work-outer! i used to do a couple of boot camps a week, which i loved, but then i decided i could save a lot of $ and do those workouts on my own…which i’ve been very diligent about, so it paid off! i wouldn’t mind having running partners, but it’s difficult to get my friends to run in the first place, let alone run any distance over 3 miles and in the cold.

I would love to workout in classes, but I live in a teeny tiny town and the options for group classes are limited.
