I wish I could say that I invented this genius sweet treat idea, but I’ve seen it all over Pinterest over the past few years.
I can’t believe it took me so long to make these myself! They’re SO easy, delicious, and a healthier alternative for dessert.

To make these I melted about 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips in the microwave for 1 minute, then whisked in a drizzle of almond milk to thin it out.
Then I added 2 sliced bananas to the bowl and made sure to have the chocolate cover each slice.
Place each piece on a tray/plate covered with wax paper and put in the freezer for a few hours.
I’ve seen these made with peanut butter (definitely trying that next time!) but I kept it simple and used shredded coconut as a topping.

What’s the last Pinterest success you’ve had?

Yum!! I love chocolate + banana so I’m sure I’d love this! This would be such a perfect summer treat because it would be so refreshing on a hot day!
These look delicious!!
This looks so good! I love when a pinterest recipe actually works!
LOL. Yes, I agree, when a Pinterest really turns out =) I have had enough fails….
i’ve been seeing these all over for a while and need to make them. bananas and dark chocolate are basically my 2 fave foods ever! yours came out so delicious looking.
I seriously need a huge stock of these in my freezer at all times. You should try melting an equal amount of coconut oil into the chocolate - it’ll help the chocolate harden faster and give such nice coconut flavor!
I’m obsessed with this!
this looks like a cheap & easy version of Trader Joe’s tasty frozen banana dessert - Gone Bananas, I think? I hate to turn my back on my beloved grocery store (I’m seriously TOO obsessed) but this recipe looks like the clear winner here!
Yum! I find a lot of my cutesy treats for my students on pinterest. These I need to make for myself!
