I’ve attended tons of fashion week events since living in New York, but I had yet to go to an actual fashion show!
…until yesterday 
BlogHer reached out to me a few weeks ago asking if I’d like to attend a show courtesy of Diet Coke, and I of course jumped on the opportunity.
I’m a huge fan of J.Mendel, so I was so excited when I was able to snag the two tickets to his show.
I brought Jessi with me, of course.
I kept my look for the day simple with a black jumper, and brought a red blazer along.

The show was so much fun! We had amazing seats, and the collection was absolutely stunning. I loved seeing lots of pops of neon, sharp lines, and specifically a leather jumpsuit I couldn’t stop swooning over, ha.

I died when I saw this on Instagram! I would not be able to play it cool at NYFW. Going to an Oscar de la Renta show would pretty much be the highlight of my life.
y’all are too cute’ looks like so much fun! There was the most amazing pink dress in the Ralph Lauren show (via glamourmag’s insta) that completely took my breath away.
Just give me some toms, cigarette pants, a chunky sweater, scarf (and diet coke, obvs, life staple) and I’m a happy girl.
How cool! I think if I could go to any show, I might go to some of the bridal show - maybe like the Reem Acra show - I love love love their designs!

Omigosh this is so amazing, it is my dream to go to fashion week! I would love to see so many different shows but I think Kate Spade, DVF, Chanel, Marc Jacobs, and so many more!
did you ladies coordinate your outfits? The black + white is phenom. Hottest couple there, I’m sure. Where is that red blazer from?
hehe no we didn’t 😛 I forget where the blazer is from - I’ve had it for like 3 years! H&M and Zara I think!
