Do you have a pet peeve that you’re guilty of committing yourself?
Because I do. And it’s the use of a word commonly used by girls to describe something they like very, very much. You know what word I’m talking about…
OBSESSED.
“I’m obsessed with that Marc Jacobs handbag.”
“No no you don’t understand, I’m obsessed with Ryan Gosling.”
It’s like, isn’t obsessed just a tad bit of an overstatement? Why is it that we ladies can’t just REALLY LIKE something?!
…With that being said, here are some things I’m obsessed with right now, and very shamelessly so.
dunkin donuts pumpkin coffee.
You can HAVE your Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte - I’ll be busy sipping on my pumpkin-flavored coffee (with cream) all day, every day. Less sugar, less cash…it’s a clear winner, people.

my friends.
Yup, I’m that person who truly believes that she has the best friends in the world, and who says she’s obsessed with them. Deal with it.

cutesie-poo animals.
I’m also that person who will stop a puppy on the street and talk to it in the most obnoxious baby voice you’ve ever heard. And maybe the one who Googles “cute animals” in her spare time. What can I say? …other than, obsessed.
…and yes, “cutesie-poo” is in fact a real word. See?

pendant necklaces.
I’ve always been a jewelry girl. And, I’m usually a fan of that which falls on the more obnoxious side. There’s just something about pendant necklaces, though, that I’m obsessed with. Maybe because they’re delicate? Or classic? Whatever it is, I just love ‘em.

chipotle.
When I’m absolutely starving, nothing sounds better than a big pile of meat, cheese, and guacamole. In other words, I praise thee fast-food gods for a little old thing called the burrito bowl.

emo quotes…& stuff.
If the fact that I use the word “obsessed” doesn’t make me enough of a typical girl, maybe my obsession with all things inspirational/lovey-dovey will.

OMG I am OBSESSED with pinterest
I’m also obsessed with my friends
I am that girl who says ‘obsessed’ about everything. I think people who describe things that way are just passionate. That pony is too cute btw… how could you not be obsessed with that!
Grace Face…
I died laughing while reading this (another exaggeration)…
The cutie animals… um, remember in Madison Park when you talked to the brown squirrel for a few minutes. Yup, you’re a weirdo!
I’m obsessed with you too…
love ya
P.s.
Here is the secret: Starbucks coffee with pumpkin spice syrup
Less calories, tastes better than your dumb DD, and costs $0
BOOM!

I am currently obsessed with pumpkin spice kcups…and also anything and everything wedding related! Love planning!
I’m obsessed with pale pink nail polish with gold crackle on top.
yyyyeup… I’m that girl.
I’m currently obsessed with Zero Vitamin Water in Squeezed and fall fashion/clothing
I’m obsessed with:
a bunch of chunky bracelets worn all at once;
the thought of going to the apple orchard and getting warm donuts and apple cider;
winter coats and boots;
getting engaged!
i’m currently obsessed with fall clothing and accessories, esp touches of leopard!
I wish we had a Dunkin Donuts out here in Reno! I would love that pumpkin coffee, I’m sure.
I think right now my obessions would be: coconut anything, my new pug Elsa, writing poetry, and of course, fall!
I’m so loving all the pumpkin stuff right now
Love this post. Obsessed with pumpkin flavored coffee either from dunkin donuts OR starbucks.. obsessed with my new apartment… obsessed with 16 handles.. obsessed with my doggies
First time visiting your blog, and its great! Officially bookmarked!
I’m obsessed with kimchi, stumbleupon and all things Scottish!
I’m obsessed with sushi, pumpkin oatmeal, and brown leather boots!
I am also a girl who is “obsessed” with a lot of things! Current obsessions include finding the perfect pair of fall boots and iced Passion tea from Starbucks. Ohh and I’m also obsessed with quotes so I especially loved the ones you posted
currently me and all of my roommates have been OBSESSED with watching Felicity on netflix… its a series throwback circa 1998. kind of a trainwreck but we are addicted! also, OF COURSE pinterest, and since we are in the south: FOOTBALL SEASON.
I’m obsessed with your friend’s glasses! I love them! They’d suit my Librarian look quite well.
Right now, I’m obsessed with boots, Lululemon, Fossil everything, and juicing absolutely everything in my fridge with my new juicer, lol!
It gets on my nerves when people say everything is “amazing…” Which I’m totally guilty of doing myself!!
Can I just say I am so glad I am not the only person that frequently Googles “cute animals”?! Although I find I search for “cute puppies” just a little more haha
Also, does the pumpkin spice coffee at DD only need cream and no sugar?! It must be good if it doesn’t even need sugar! Clearly I have a sweet tooth problem.
How funny you posted about this because just this morning I was thinking about how I beleive I am using that word too much lately! I was thinking about the show Parks and Recreation. hehe! I’m also kind of obsessed with Fall decorating and baking with pumpkin also
I’m so obsessed with maxi dresses right now. Also, gluten-free animal crackers. I swear they are better than normal animal crackers.
It gets on my nerves when people say things like totes.
I’m currently obsessed with my new friends, pumpkins, the fact that I have a kindergarten crush and my hair extensions! haha.
One phrase that kills me is when people say “oh it’s a cluster F”. Just because you say F does make you cool. And the phrase … it’s just annoying! haha. Maybe it’s me?
I’m “obsessed” with DD pumpkin, too!!! WAY better than Starbucks coffee, in my opinion. I get it with one pump of pumpkin syrup and skim milk. The syrup is sweet enough for me, no sweetener needed….I love it iced, too. Gettin’ it in while I still can until it gets WAY too cold and inappropriate for iced coffee.
Oh…and if you like cute, subscribe to this blog NOW. http://www.zooborns.com/zooborns/
I fall in love every single day.
Does being obsessed with GML count? #awwww
hehehehe #doubleawww
I love this post! I’m obsessed with quite a few things:
-pumpkin anything…just made some delicious gluten free pumpkin bread! I also am guilty of loving the pumpkin spice latte! I live super close to DD so will have to try their pumpkin coffee!
-fall clothes (my new brown cozy moccasin shoes and plaid button downs!)
-Parks & Rec and The Office
-Burt’s Bees new natural throat drops for a scratchy throat-works wonders!
My pet peeve word/phrase is “Seriously?” I say this a lot-when I’m excited, surprised, or even annoyed.
My obsessions: my new cross-body leather purse; writing things in my pink agenda book because I’m super busy lately; and Dr. Pepper.
I tried Dunkin Donuts pumpkin coffee and was really disappointed! I think the person made it wrong
..it didn’t even taste like pumpkin.
However, I have been a little obsessed with emo quotes on Pinterest lately…
Ah, they must’ve made it wrong! I swear it’s delicious!!
you shouldnt lie to your readers
Hey Marquez, have you tried the DD pumpkin coffee (with cream) yet? YEAH, DIDN’T THINK SO.
Haahaha GUILTY! I am OBSESSED with Kashi GoLean these days…it’s like Lucky Charms sans the Marshmallows!
Fun post. I am obsessed with mixing/eating several types of cereals for breakfast (right now its Honey Bunches of Oats, Raisin Bran and Frosted mini wheats), Modern Family, and seasonal coffee creamers.
One phrase I don’t understand is when someone uses the word “wicked” to describe something. Like… “that’s wicked awesome,” or “that’s wicked sweet.” Maybe this is a northeast thing since I noticed it a lot when I went to visit my family in CT. I don’t hear this phrase too often in Texas!
Well I will happily take the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte off your hands for you … I am a little obsessed with them. Of course, it may be because I don’t have a Starbucks anywhere near me (the joys of living in the sticks), so when I can actually have Starbucks, I get a little too excited.
As far as words that annoy me, I just get sick of hearing “like” used 1,000,000 times when speaking with a teenage girl. I’m sure I was guilty of it at that age, but now it grates on my nerves.
Cute animals! I stopped at a festival a few weeks ago and they had miniature ponies. They’re neighing was so cute! Right now I’m going through a Lion King obsession after seeing it on Tuesday.
Lately, Ive been EXTRA obsessed with framing pictures, smoothies, texting my little sis nonstop (Im so annoying!) and reading books!
Thanks for the post, love it!
xoxo
obsessed with my puppies. obsessed with books on tape. obsessed with NPR in the morning. obsessed with chocolate eye liner.
Woo, 7:17PM est! Just barely made it. I’d like to win to test it out on my acne-ridden skin.
Hah, I am SO guilty of using the word obsessed for anything I have an more-than-small interest in. Something that I really am obsessed with lately, though, is peanut butter. I opened a jar on Monday and it’s already like a third of the way gone. I’m seriously eating it all. the. time. It’s just so good! I can’t help myself
haha
I am OBSESSED with coconut! Everything coconut! From the real deal to lotions-I love it!
BTW I LOVE the photo of the turtle-totally cutsey-dootsie
LOVEEEE coconut!!
I am obsessed with pumpkin everything (beer, coffee, foods) and baked goods from the protein bakery ever since you blogged about them. I also wanted to tell you about this awesome restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen called Nizza, it specializes in gluten free (pastas, pizzas, etc) and delish!
LOVE Protein Bakery!! I’ve been getting their blondies at least a few times a week
To be honest, I’m obsessed with pumpkin latte’s from Starbucks, but I can only see buying one once a week… if that. Because they are so expensive. I’m going to have to try the pumpkin coffee from Dunkies!
i hate when people say “shut up”, to describe how happy they are….(I’m guilty of doing this sometimes)
Is the Dunkin Donuts pumpkin coffee gluten free??! If so, you’ve just made my fall!
Gosh, I actually don’t know! I’m not severely allergic to gluten so I don’t pay much attention when it comes to stuff like coffee, but maybe there’s more info on the website…? Sorry I can’t be of more help!
