a monday giveaway.

Ummm HI THERE!!! Oh, how I’ve missed you all….

As you can tell, I wasn’t kidding when I said I might go MIA. As I mentioned on Friday, my computer was put to (a temporary) death by a virus but should be back in action tomorrow. Upon its return, I look forward to bringing you a handful of NYC restaurant reviews, a life lesson post or two, etc…

But - until then - what better way is there to start off this rainy work week than with a giveaway?!

(photo is not an original, but just so you get a better idea of the goods :))

Since posting about French macarons a few times last week, most of you have expressed that you’re either a) dying to try them or b) already as obsessed with them as I am. So I’m excited to give a box of 8 macarons from NYC’s Cafe M to TWO gorgeous readers.

Here’s how to enter:

1) Leave a comment describing your favorite part about this past weekend (no matter how significant or insignificant it may have been!).

Two more (optional) means of entry:

2) Follow me on Twitter (already following me can count too).

3) Tweet about the giveaway: “@alagracie is giving away her favorite French macarons! http://tinyurl.com/3clnzxp”

Make sure to leave a comment for each entry in order for them to be counted.

The contest will end on Wednesday, May 18 at 5pm EST, so get your entries in! Good luck, and thanks for being the amazing and supportive readers/friends a girl could ask for :)

xoxo G

I was actually in Paris for the first time last week. So I’d have to say my favorite part of the weekend was trying a different flavored macaroon at every boulangerie. So far I’ve tried and loved caramel, raspberry, pistachio, coconut and chocolate… and I’d love to be able to try a few more! :)

the best part of my weekend was getting caught up on chores (sounds boring but i LOVE relaxing in a seriously clean apt) and then enjoying the rest of my lazy day eating dinner and watching a terrible movie (skyline, if BAD endings bother you as much as they do me, i don’t recommend it).
