While I try to maintain an open mind as much as possible, there are times where I do take sides.

In the case of brownies versus blondies, I think you know where I stand.
My mom is visiting for the day/night, so I decided to bake a batch of blondies. Since I didn’t have any cake mix on hand, I used another one of my favorite blondie recipes, with an add-in of crushed dark chocolate pieces. And since I don’t have an 8×8 pan, I used a cake pan instead. The result was what appeared to be a giant cookie pie.

…because the only thing better than a blondie is a slice of blondie, no?
Don’t get me wrong - brownies aren’t all that bad. But to me, well…I think the photos speak for themselves.

Team blondie, actually. I love brownies, but I think that blondies are better on a more consistent basis. Amazing brownies are few and far between!!
I’ve only made blondies once and they were peanut butter blondies with a chocolate ganache (to die for)… soo while I LOVE a good brownie, I guess blondies are high up on my dessert list now too!

I used to be in team Brownie (I do have to say i didn’t know blondies existed back then!), but i’m getting close to be on team blondies. I find them different and i LOVE difference. Brownies are sometimes too rich and blondies are just perfect!
I don’t believe I’ve ever had a blondie. Apparently this needs to change ASAP! I just need to find a GF one!

i love blondies!!! i prefer chocolate to be the accent in foods… chocolate chip cookies are much better than double chocolate cookies, vanilla cake with chocolate frosting is better than double chocolate, chocolate chip cookie dough icecream is better than chocolate icream ;c) in my opnion at least haha

Okay, first of all these look OFF DA HOOK! And second of all I have only had blondies once but they were delicious, so BLONDIE all the way!
Those look amazing! I am actually not a team blondie groupie… I am really only a brownie fan, a dark chocolate girl, a frosting girl, cookie dough only girl, and whip cream - the occasional piece of pumpkin pie. I know what is wrong with me!
Aside from our view of blondies, we are clearly the same person when it comes to desserts!! Frosting/cookie dough/whipped cream are my favorites
