Hello there, my sweets! I hope that the beginning of the weekend is off to a great start for you ![]()
I had an appointment in the city this morning, so it was another early wake up call for me. First on the agenda: CLOTHEZ.
I went with my typical choice – a belted work-friendly dress with tights, a cardigan…

…and, rain boots.

Because melting snow and tights do not go well together.
Obviously the boots were traded in for a pair of Mary-Jane wedges, which fit ever so conveniently in my handbag. But the boots…not so much. The solution? A massive plastic bag that I brought so I could shove my boots into my handbag without getting water/mud/NYC pollutes in there too.

Genius, I know.
Anyway, back to my morning, where I also whipped together breakfast to-go. A toasted Udi’s bagel with mashed banana and peanut butter:

I’m not sure what influenced me to get gluten free bagels, but I’m glad I did. I’ve had Udi’s products in the past, and they delivered yet another tasty g-free option. I’d definitely recommend toasting these bagels, though, if you do decide to try them.
Today’s venture into the city was a short one, and I’m already back at my apartment catching up on work.
I’m very excited to say that I have quite the company coming over later for what I’m doing to deem ladies night, despite hating that term with an absolute passion. Amanda, Emily, Kate, Caitlin and I are going to have a splendid weekend together, I just know it!
And yes – you may or may not see a #ladiesnight hashtag in the near future. Don’t hate.
Have a good one, dolls! xoxo G
Have you ever tried gluten-free bread products? Thoughts?

ha! i can ONLY have gluten free bread products. it’s super hard to find gluten and egg free bread products though, so 99.9% of the time i just make them myself
super cute boots.
I’m always curious about those Udi’s products when I see them in the freezer section. I may have to give them a try!

I have not tried gluten free bread but I would die to try those bagels!
I feel like those bagels are popping up everywhere!
i’ve never tried gluten free since they tend to make them with poor quality flours here a lot of the time. but i’ve heard good things about Udi’s!
Your work outfit looked great!
Ahh your bagelwich looks delicious! I love my gluten free millet bread from food for life, it’s so moist and a little sweet and soooo good with hummus! I’ve never tried the bagels, but maybe today will be the day:)

Ahh I gave up gluten about a month ago and I’ve been missing bagels so much ever since. I’ll have to try these asap!

Cute outfit love! And it’s funny- I almost bought those bagels yesterday! Gonna have to go back and get them now =P
I am gluten free and Udi’s is the only gluten free bread product out there. Seriously those bagels are legit!
I have tried Ezekiel brand gluten free breads and they are ok, I will keep an eye out for Udi’s! Enjoy your weekend love!
I just went gluten-free and feel amazing! I haven’t tried Udi’s bread or bagels, but did try their pizza crusts and they were delicious.
Udi’s is my favorite so far when it comes to bread and bagels. I have other favorite GF tortilla brands though!
Seeing as I’m GF, I have tried a LOT of GF products. I’ve found a few good ones, but in all honesty, I love making my own. I’ve mastered sandwich bread, english muffins, and pretzel bread!

I don’t think I’ve ever tried anything gluten free, but that bagel looks great. I absolutely love bagels with peanut butter.
Aw, have so much fun with your girls night! And I so would’ve worn the boots and brought a diff pair of shoes in my purse… girls gotta do what a girls gotta do!
I was tested for Celiac last winter and I had to eat GF products for a few weeks. Everything I tried was so gross! The bread was so dry and crumbly.
I guess I just wasn’t trying the right products though!
I haven’t tried any gluten free products because they’re always more expensive and I’m not sensitive to gluten so I just stick with my normal bagels…which I love!

I’ve tried LOTS of gluten free products (because of my food allergies) and love Udi’s! Some of the other breads out there are awful!!!
