I tend to be a creature of habit, and I’m okay with that.
(to an extent.)
Some habits I seem to have formed over the past few weekends include period films…
…also known as those movies I used to refuse to watch because everyone has an “annoying” English accent. To say that I’ve been unconditionally and irrevocably converted is an understatement.
The weekend is also when I swear I’m going to try a new look with my makeup.
That lasts for about 5 minutes. I’ll muster up the courage soon…I will…
I’d have to say that my favorite weekend habit, though, is Sunday morning baking.
Having cookies (or in today’s case, Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie) for breakfast is entirely acceptable, if you ask me.
I’m thinking an alternate title for this post could be: “reasons it is very necessary that Gracie moves out and gets a life STAT.”
Happy Sunday, dollbabes. xoxo G
- What are your weekend habits?

whaaat color/brand is that lipstick? i’ve never found a decent red. rock it. you look beautiful!
Thanks ladycakes!! It’s Loreal - “Sunset Red”
Rock that lipstick girl! You look gorgeous with it. I would honestly say take it off if it looked awful (gotta look out for my blog girls! haha), but it definitely DOES NOT.
i LOVE the new makeup look. and you may have given me the courage to switch up my own makeup routine today… maybe
Red lips are so glam! I love it.
LOVE the red lips! You totally pull it off

haah you’re so funny. you definitely already have a life, gracie!!! that pie looks incredible and guess what- i’ve been developing my own sunday baking habit!!! I’m about to go bake right now

I used to hate period films too. Actually, what the hell am i saying, i DO still kinda hate them, but only because i usually can’t understand what they hell they’re saying. The one i do love is The Other Boelyn Girl, that movie is AWESOME. your weekend sounds pretty rad to me.
I’m all about Sunday baking too
I throw on some music, whip up some goodies for the week, watch the NFL until my head can’t take any more…and then crash! I’m trying to get into the habit of winding down my weekend very easily and quitting any “work” by 7 pm for some reading, a movie…something to eeeease into the weekend!
into the week, rather…duh
1. I love Vanity Fair…you have to read the book. It’s long but sooo good.
2. You look stunning with red lips. Go for it on Tuesday night!!
3. Chocolate chip cookie pie was the first dessert I ever made for Mike. And he loved it
Elisabeth says
Um, this morning I baked pumpkin muffins and then put on red lipstick to jump start my day. It is scary to rock a red lip at first, but just practice. Red and hot pink are my go-tos.
That make up is so pretty! Makes you look very sophisticated! It definitely is a bold move tho i agree!
Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie is the best dessert ever!
The pie looks awesome… perfectly acceptable for breakfast!
Weekend habits? Eating half a bag of chocolate chips while baking a pre-Thanksgiving dish for my college amigos, apparently. Haha, time for some gym tan laundry (and by that I mean gym then shower then pre-tgiving party haha :))
Oh yum.
Waking up for a run in the park USED to be a weekend habit - need to reinstate that one STAT. Going to the farmers market. Cooking for the week. Watching entirely too much TV or movies with my husband. Waking up slightly later than usual - thank God. Errands - which is more exciting than it sounds because it makes us feel accomplished and we feel better during the week for having done them!
I LOVE you with the red lipstick!!! And baked goods for a Sunday breakfast sounds completely reasonable to me.
I love your banner on the blog.
And, I think you look pretty with red lipstick. Blonds rock the red! So happy I am a blond.

I think you look great in red lipstick! I also know how many times I’ve chickened out on wearing it though. For me I’ve been baking a lot on the weekends and giving myself manicures. By mid-week my nails will look terrible but right now- a glossy shade of plum
Gracie that red lipstick looks GORGEOUS on you! Anddd I feel the same way about moving out. Car searching has turned into Chelsea-apartment searching …

Very glam warpaint, Miss Gracie!
My weekend habits are working and sleeping.
A night in the life of an Emergency Department paper-pusher.
The chocolate chip cookie pie looks TO. DIE. FOR!
Weekend habits: sitting my booty on the courch for hours on Friday and Sunday nights.
Waking up and having a leisurely breakfast on Saturdays!
I had cake for breakfast and it was delicious.
My weekend habits are workouts on Sat and Sun and treating myself to multiple trips to S-bux =)
Creature o’ habit over here too! I LOVE that look on you. You’re lucky you can rock the red lips. Love the nail polish too

Oh girl, I love weekend baking and movie-watching. It’s cozy, selfish and wonderfully mindless all at once.
Sundays [or weekends in general] are the only times I can bake during the school year. I hate that I can’t bake whenever I want, but I love having a special day [or two days] when I know I can bake!
OMG GO OUT AND ROCK THAT LIPSTICK RIGHT NOW! You look amazing in that!
Also, loooove me some period films. I crave them!
I LOVE the lips!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO IT!!!!! I’ve said it before on my blog, but life is too short for subtle makeup. Go all out, girl!
You rock that red lipstick
And I absolutely love period films especially Pride and Prejudice (where’s my Mr. Darcy)!
Yuuum! I wonder if you’d like Coconut Oatmeal Pie!
