I should probably clarify that that title doesn’t bear much relevance to this post, other than the fact that I baked. And I just like the way it sounds.
It also helps you to understand how I spent a good deal of my weekend, right?
In case you were wondering, Mama Pea’s infamous Cookie Dough Balls can be made using real butter and spelt flour. Heav. en. ly.
This lonely muffin was made solely to satisfy my sweet tooth with minimal effort. I used the age-old trick of combining spice cake mix (1.75 servings) with canned pumpkin (about 1/4 cup) and baked for 12 minutes. I didn’t feel like making cream cheese icing, but since this cake was in muffin-form I justified topping it with plain old butter.
Montana Whoppers are my favorite cookies, and they’ll become the favorite of just about anyone who tries them.
This weekend I also:
- watched two Ashton Kutcher movies
- found a fun new hobby (I just posted a new ensemble, in fact!)
- decided to possibly-maybe-still-not-sure take a trip to NYC later today
Enjoy your Sunday, ‘cakes! xoxo G

I can’t be responsible for what I am about to order.

Hey Michelle! Thank YOU for posting the wonderful recipe! I’ve actually been using it since my pre-blogging days
I actually wanted to run something by you. I’m doing a guest post for Heather (thenheathersaid.com) on easy, semi-handmade ways to package cookies/baked goods to give as gifts for the holiday season. Would you might if I mentioned your Montana Whoppers there as well? The photos/linkage would be similar as in this post
Let me know what you think! Thanks girl xoxo G
I know a gem when I get my hands on one! When the recipe found its way to me, I knew I just *had* to share it.
I’d be honored if you mentioned/linked to the Montana Whoppers post in your guest post for Heather. Spread the word far and wide!
Thanks so much!
Baking is excellent use of a weekend, if you ask me!
I am getting in the mood to bake, too! I’ve see Mama Pea’s dough balls many times on many blogs. Maybe it’s a sign that I should make them?
I think I’ll be baking up a batch of oatmeal raisin tonight.
